I rent out different types of arches for weddings, proposals, birthdays and any special occasion. You can choose to “pick up/drop off” the arch in Oakland. The arch is disassembled (most affordable option) or choose the full-service option where I deliver the arch to your venue, assemble it, and break it down to give you the peace of mind you need on your special day.
I currently rent out 2 different types of arches – circular arches and a T-shaped wooden arch. The most popular one is the circular arch, which comes in 2 sizes – 7.5′ tall x 8′ wide and 9′ tall x 10′ wide. The T-shaped wooden arch is about 7′ tall x 7′ wide. All arches are approximately 3-4′ in depth (front/back). I am open to any new ideas, and plan to make a square-type arch commonly used in Jewish weddings (Chuppah) in the near future.
The basic rental is just for the bare arch. I have several florists who are familiar with my arch. I can recommend several throughout the Bay Area. I also do rent out basic decorations (faux garlands, faux flowers, fairy lights, white drapes, etc) for an additional fee that is affordable and a lot less expensive than what a florist would charge you. All arch rentals will come disassembled. Included with each rental is a toolbox with the necessary tools to assemble the arch as well as written instructions. If you can assemble Ikea furniture, then you can definitely assemble the arch. The circular arch has 8 pieces in total, while the T-shaped wood arch has 11 pieces in total. All pieces are held together by screws that are included as part of the rental.
The circular arch takes about 20-30 minutes on average to assemble while the wooden T-shaped arch takes about 35-45 minutes. If you’re a really handy person, it may take you about 1/2 the time especially if you use a cordless drill. Please note this is just for assembly of the bare arch and does not account for any decorations.
The 8′ circular arch fits into most compact cars, while the 10′ circular arch and 7′ wooden arch can easily fit into mid to large size cars (i.e. station wagon, SUV, larger sedan), as long as your rear seats fold down and your trunk is clear.
Depending on the type of arch being rented, duration of rental, extra add-ons (decorations) and the rental option (pick up/drop off vs. full service) the price can vary quite a bit. Please message me for a more accurate quote.
I recommend booking in advance as soon as possible, since most events take place on weekends. I am currently a one person team at the moment, so you can imagine I can’t be at 2 places at once for a delivery. As the saying goes: “first come, first served.” Please keep in mind that the delivery option is also subject to my availability, although I’m working on hiring a backup person.
I accept all forms of payment, but prefer Venmo (preferred) or cash. Please note: there is an additional 3% fee if paying via credit card.
The initial deposit is 50% of the total cost to the total rental price (including all add-ons and services). This amount is non-refundable and used to secure the arch for your venue date. The remaining 50% balance is due when the arch is picked up and/or delivered.
